London, April 1, 2016 – Nucleus Global, the largest independently held medical communications group in the world, has announced key changes to its senior management structure. The steady growth of the company’s client and therapy area rosters, through its effective and trusted approach to providing high-quality medical communications services, has spawned the next evolution of the company. After 30 years as the Chairman and CEO of Nucleus Global, Dr. Stephen Cameron, the company founder, will transition to the Chairman’s role effective July 1, 2016. Cameron will focus on company investments, potential acquisitions, patient-focused initiatives and leading the group’s Board of Directors. Cameron has appointed Mark Lydiatt, President of US Operations since 1998, as his successor as CEO of Nucleus Global.
In this new role, Lydiatt will lead the global company (US, Europe, Asia-Pacific) and partner with the senior leadership team to set and execute company strategy. “In 2015, Nucleus Global achieved its highest growth rate in company history (24% revenue growth from 2014),” said Cameron. “We also added 29 new pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, laying an even stronger foundation for future growth. Our corporate strategy has enabled us to attract world-class multitalented staff whose innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit have helped us to grow continuously over the last 30 years.” Lydiatt brings more than 28 years of experience as a leader, communications professional, pharmaceutical marketer, and microbiologist in the healthcare sector.
Filling the role of President of US Operations for Nucleus Global will be Michael Mandola, Ph.D. Mandola, in his 10th year with the company, will be transitioning from the role of Senior Vice President of ArticulateScience, LLC., the largest agency within the group, on April 1, 2016. In this role, he will partner with the US leadership team across 12 agencies to manage and strategically support the region. This role will also include oversight of operations as well as partnering with regional leads in Europe and Asia-Pacific to help optimize, grow, and manage business.
Transitioning to the role of Vice President of ArticulateScience, LLC., will be Erinn Goldman, Ph.D. Goldman joined the group in 2007 after operating a highly successful freelance editorial services business. Most recently, Goldman has led the scientific department of ArticulateScience, LLC. and has also served as lead strategist on several flagship accounts.
